What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Saturday brought a long sewing day while I watched some football.

I improved my ironing set up.

And finished nearly half of a quilt top. Being prepped is critical as I don’t see how to incorporate a cutting area.

I do love the machine. It has responded beautifully to the care given.

On August 3 Husband said, “I saw an estate sale that looked interesting. Let’s go.” We wandered around, and I found myself in the basement, looking at a sewing machine. I don’t know about you, but I feel sad when I see lonely sewing machines, but, like puppies, I can’t give a home to all of them. In fact, I have never given a home to any of them. Ever. I have never purchased a sewing machine (unless you count a serger).

The price was $125, but I could see right away that it needed work. Well ...
